Terms & conditions
What you are agreeing to when you book, what we are responsible for, and what happens when plans change.
Draft — pending legal review
This is a working draft. The clauses below set out the right structure but the specifics in brackets need to be filled in, and the whole page needs review by a lawyer qualified in your jurisdiction before you publish it. Placeholder values are marked so they are easy to find.
These terms apply to trips booked with Mantlex Private Limited, trading as Far Finds ("we", "us"). Registered office: [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. Company registration number: [CIN]. GST number: [GSTIN].
We plan itineraries and arrange travel services on your behalf. For most components, including accommodation, transport, guides and activities, we act as an agent for the supplier who actually provides the service. Your contract for those services is with the supplier, and their own terms will apply alongside these.
Cancellation charges depend on how close to departure you cancel, and on what the underlying suppliers will refund. As a guide:
Some components are non-refundable from the moment they are booked. We will flag these to you in writing before they are confirmed.
Occasionally something has to change. Where a change is minor, for example a hotel of an equivalent standard in the same area, we will let you know and the booking stands. Where a change materially affects the trip, you can accept it, take an alternative trip we offer, or cancel for a full refund of money paid to us.
Group departures run subject to a minimum of [NUMBER] travellers. If a departure does not reach that number we will tell you at least [NUMBER] days before departure and offer you a full refund or an alternative date.
You are responsible for holding a valid passport and any visas, permits or vaccination certificates your trip requires. We will tell you what we believe is needed, but requirements change and the final responsibility is yours. We cannot refund a trip you cannot take because documentation was not in order.
Travel insurance is a condition of travelling with us. Your policy must cover medical expenses, repatriation, and cancellation. We may ask for your policy number before departure.
On group departures, we can ask a traveller to leave a trip if their behaviour puts others at risk or materially spoils the trip for the rest of the group. No refund is due in that situation and onward costs are the traveller's own.
We are responsible for planning your trip with reasonable skill and care, and for arranging the services described in your confirmation. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of independent suppliers, or for events outside our reasonable control, including weather, strikes, civil unrest, border closures and natural events. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
If something goes wrong during a trip, tell us or the supplier at the time so we have a chance to fix it. If it is not resolved, write to us at [EMAIL ADDRESS] within [NUMBER] days of returning.
We collect only what we need to plan and book your trip, and we share it with the suppliers involved in delivering it. We do not sell your data. [LINK TO PRIVACY POLICY ONCE WRITTEN.]
