Hot air balloons rising over the west bank at Luxor at dawn

We went looking first.

Far Finds is Sadhana and Shreya. We travel whenever we can, and kept finding that the best part was never the famous bit. So now we do the finding for you.

Luxor, 6:39am

Every package we looked at sold coverage. Eleven cities in nine days, and a list of things you can say you have seen.

What stays with you is smaller: the people you get talking to, the corner you never planned to visit, the road between two places. That is the part that changes how you see somewhere.

So we build trips around those. The well-known places are still in there; they are the background, not the point. You travel with your own people, start on a date that suits you, and keep room to change the day once you are there.

More found than seen

Straight off our camera rolls. Some of these made it into a trip. Some of them are why we started.

“The best parts of our trips were never on the plan. Getting up at 1am to walk into a volcano at Ijen. A bowl of khao soi a driver told us about. We want every trip to have room for those.”— Sadhana & Shreya
“I'll happily wait in the cold for the right hour. Red Square at night, with nobody else around, was worth every minute.”— Sadhana
“I plan around food first and fit everything else around it. The best dumplings I've had cost less than the metro ride there.”— Shreya

Routes, stays & the fine print

Sadhana

I work out the route, the stays and the small print on every trip. My camera always comes along, and I'll happily wait in the cold for the right light.

Finds, food & the day on the ground

Shreya

I look for the Finds on every trip, and the food comes first: the stall, the dish, the town worth the detour. Once you land, I look after your days.

find

/faɪnd/  ·  noun

  1. Something good you came across that you couldn't have booked from a brochure.
  2. A road, a meal, an hour. Small, specific, and the part you tell people about afterwards.
A trip is measured in what you find, not what you pass.

How a trip gets made

Most operators start with the hotels, which is why their trips all look the same. We start with the Find and work backwards. Four steps, in this order.

01
A bowl of khao soi

The Finds come first

Before a route exists, we decide what the trip is for: the meal, the road, the hour that makes it worth going.

the famous sights fit around these
02
A road through the Red Sea Mountains seen in a car wing mirror

The route, built backwards

We set the pace, then build the days so the few things that matter land well.

Checked by our partners

Local partners check every trip we design: seasons, closures and the transfer that looks fine on paper and takes five hours in practice. Stays are picked for where they are.

Room left to change

Your own start date, and activities you can swap once you're there. Anything that needs booking ahead gets sorted first.
