Before you go
You will need a Russian visa, so check current rules for your passport early. Land in Murmansk before 4 pm on day 1 and fly out after 6 pm on day 4. The aurora is never guaranteed, and if snow closes the Teriberka road that day moves to Kirovsk instead. Pack for hours outdoors in serious cold.
